Trains services resumed at Hua Lamphong station on Tuesday after passengers in Bangkok had to board trains at Bang Sue and Makkasan stations on Monday because protestors blocked the tracks.

State Railway of Thailand governor Yutthana Thapcharoen said normal services resumed in the morning and any inquiries could be made to hotline 1690.

Train services at Hua Lamphong, the country's main rail hub, were suspended on Monday after red-shirts blocked the track at Yommarat. Trains were also canceled on some routes because red-shirts blocked the tracks in the provinces.

Bangkok Mass Transit Authority director Pinate Puapatankul said all buses were running in the capital, but some were being redirected around roads still blocked by riot debris.
