The situation in Veal Entry, close to Preah Vihear temple, is very tense because the Thai aggression troops never drop their ambition to swallow Cambodian territories. Currently, Thailand has sent in a large number of troops that push to the border in front of Veal Entry. An anonymous high-ranking Cambodian officer indicated that, following the 03 April clash, the situation in Veal Entry is becoming very tense because Thailand added more troops (black-clad soldiers, paramilitary soldiers and commandos) as well as tanks along the border in front of Veal Entry. The same officer added that in the morning of 07 April, Thailand sent in a large number of troops in front of Veal Entry in an attempt to take over Veal Entry and Phnom Troap which constitute important bases for Cambodian troops to protect Preah Vihear temple. The same officer indicated that frontline Cambodian soldiers have prepared themselves to prevent any move from Thai troops, and Cambodian soldiers have no fear about the potential aggression of Thai troops, even if there would be fighting in the air and on the ground. Cambodian troops have experienced war in the past and they used to be involved in past war as well.
